For Costco: Pulled in late at night. Called ahead and got permission. Stayed overnight without any problems. Area well lit. Right off interstate 65, but far enough away to not get highway noise.

For Costco: We bought fuel and spent the night by the tire center with no problems, it was well lit and quiet. We did not ask permission.
