For D and W Lake Camping and Fishing: Winter camping for the weekend and was comfortably accommodated into a spacious drive through spot that easily fit my 40' class A. The owner met us as we arrived at 7pm, personally walked us back and helped park/hook up my coach. They are doing some significant upgrades for 2018 and they gave us a few dollars off per night since we were electric only. Already booked again for May and look forward to a spot right on the lake. Convenient to shopping, fuel, restaurants and minutes from The University of Illinois. Quiet, lots of amenities and extremely helpful/courteous ownership. Would recommend.

For D and W Lake Camping and Fishing: Excellent! Top notch, helped us to get to the site and get everything hooked up. Beautiful small lake. Will stay again when we have more time! You won't be disappointed!

For D and W Lake Camping and Fishing: Fantastic park. Sites are level and generously spaced. The majority of sites are well shaded by mature trees. The lake is pleasant: there are a couple benches and lounge chairs we used to read by the water. Mosquitos here at least seem to be easily deterred by Deet. Wi-fi is excellent. Decent cell service on major networks (AT&T @ 4 bars, Verizon @ -88 dBm LTE, T-Mobile @ -103 db LTE)
The only downsides are quite minor: there is only one washer/dryer in the laundry. The road into town has no shoulder for safe bicycling. It's a 7 mile ride into the charming parts of town, with a megadevelopment of CostCo, Sams Club, Lowes, and Meijers within only a few miles.

For D and W Lake Camping and Fishing: Great place for an extended stay. Many large sites, large shade trees, large pond for fishing and paddling. Matt and Jim are friendly and outgoing. Level grounds that drain quickly after rain. Good for walking. Town is close for shopping and exploring. Would stay here again.

For D and W Lake Camping and Fishing: It's a very nice campground. Quiet and clean. Excellent wifi and the local tv stations come in great with just an antenna. Also, level sites, which makes it easy to set up. Definitely will be back.
