For Millpoint Park: This rv park? Could be very nice with a lot of work and some money invested. But it seems like it’s just not well taken care of. If they would cut the overgrown weeds down so you could enjoy the view and replace the muddy dirt roads with paving they could bring in a lot more RVs. There was an old rusted camper and just looked like several permanent camps. Our air conditioner didn’t stay on due to insufficient power. We only stayed one night. The boathouse can only accommodate two guests. Each side has one shower, one toilet and one sink. The floors are wood and show water damage. I think if someone would buy this place and fix it up they could really make it a destination place because it’s right kn the river.

For Millpoint Park: July 2020 - We spent one night here on our travels. What a lovely spot! We had a view of the river and it was quiet and peaceful. The sites are dirt and there are tall trees. We would stay again if in the area. The only downside was driving on Millpoint Road to the RV Park, trees along the road hanging over the road hitting our motorhome.

For Millpoint Park: We stayed here 3 nights in our MH. We liked being nestled under trees. Very relaxing with the rustling of the maple leaves with a light breeze. The view of the lake and sunsets were breathtaking. Don the owner was friendly and checked with us to see that we were comfortable. Sites were level, WiFi was good. As well as cell service. Close to Peoria, walmart and shopping.

For Millpoint Park: Camped in a 40 FT with toad in a pull through site overlooking the Illinois River. We’ve booked a week as we here visiting family and friends. Beautiful campsites; views are spectacular; peaceful setting and fairly level sites. One negative that. We were able to work around though not happy about it is the poor water pressure when others in the park are running water. There was a family across from us letting their children play under the hose and we lost all pressure. Thankfully we were able to use our water pump for showers. We would stay here again. The management was very helpful and friendly!

For Millpoint Park: This is the third time we have stayed here and we easily pull our 45' rig in. It's more rustic than a paved, preened park, but there is plenty of room to explore with a panoramic view of barges trolling down the river and a great walking trail my dog loves. This is a quiet place run by an owner who aims to please with his attitude as well as improvements to the park (the new picnic tables look great!). Pads are reasonably level for the forest-like stay this venue offers. Nature lovers will enjoy this camp.

For Millpoint Park: We stayed one night over Memorial Day weekend & pulled out the next morning. Had we had water in our motor home we would have not stayed at all. The river was high so limited sites available. Very wooded, picnic tables were in horrible condition, lots of minerals in the water as it smelled like rust. We called ahead to inquire about our reservation & were told they had plenty of sites. We reserved a pull thru site & when we arrived were told to take a back in site as they were saving the last pull thru site in case someone pulled in & needed it.
