For Charley Brown City Park: So I had a machine to work on in Flora, Il. big town of 5,100 people, only campground within 30 miles was a smaller city ran park and according to CG reviews had only 30 amp service, no WiFi and no sewer - no glowing comments… I get here and find a absolutely beautiful park, great WiFi service, newer 50 amp electric, a fishing pond, a kiddie railroad and a unusually cheap $108.00 weekly rate. What I nice little town, great back roads to ride a bike, even for a work trip this has been a great place to stay! As another review were mentioned it is haphazard parking you just find a spot where your power cord and hose will reach and set up camp but it gives a lot of flexibility especially if you’re camping in groups. no gravel no pave spots just grass.
I’m giving five stars just because it’s a beautiful park ang great value for money spent…

For Charley Brown City Park: Nice quiet campground. Plenty of shaded sites but no concrete or gravel pads - leading to a haphazard arrangement of campers but that also allows groups to cluster together. Plenty of elec hookups but fewer water hookups so bring a long hose. Lots of shade. Fire rings. There is a very nice disc golf course and in the park and a fishing lake. Also a 9 hole regulation golf course. Playgrounds and great roads to bike on. The pool isn’t open now but is good also. Also a little railroad in the park “Little Toot†for the kids (not running while we were there). No reservations so arrive early. Tent sites. No sewer hookups at sites but a dump station. Clean shower and toilets. $18 per night with a weekly rate.
