For Prophetstown State Park: Lovely park but expensive as an overnight stop. Current non-resident vehicle park entry fee is $10 plus full-hook-up @ $40 or electric @$30.

For Prophetstown State Park: Great campground! Sites in the 100's are full hookups and almost all are in a wooded area with enough screening between sites to give a sense of privacy. Sites in the 200's are electric and located in a meadow with along with a very nice centrally located bathhouse. To see how farming practices have changed - combine a visit to the Park's 1920's Farm/Living History Museum with a visit to Fair Oaks Diary (located 45 minutes north on I65.)

For Prophetstown State Park: What a fresh and great place. Have been to many parks, this is one of the best. It's clean, plenty of space, rangers keep a good eye on the area. Hook up are good and better than most private parks. We only did a short stay, but can see this is a park that warrants, a few days.. I give them a 10!!!
