For Burdette Park: Park management just changed hands so some confusion exists: hours of the "on-site" park manager; centralized online reservations vs phone contact and paper schedule. Allstays has two dollars signs which I thought meant twenty dollars/night but we paid $30. Check in is 4 pm we're told, which is much later than normal. Don't know the check out time. The road around the camping side is sketchy: narrow dirt, gravel and broken/uneven concrete. Lots of low hanging tree limbs. lots of shade on the upside though. We're 36' and there was lots to watch for--go very slow! Wouldn't recommend big rigs coming into the park area from the east on Red Bank Rd. to Nurrenbern Rd. That way is narrow with a lot of low hanging cables and limbs. Try coming down Nurrenbern from the other direction. Judging from the traffic in and out of the park entrance (not the camping entrance), the park must be real nice but we didn't check it out because we didn't unhook for a one night stay. The power pedestal we had was kind of funky inside but passed our Power Watchdog tests. Water access is doubled up and farther away than 25' standard hose lengths, in some cases. Not sure how many, but you can't miss the numerous long term residents judging by the implements and junk immediately surrounding many rigs. We would not stay here again but it's pretty much the only RV park besides one in KY and one that's tent only. Guess we'll either boondock or pass through on our next trip this way.

For Burdette Park: The park is very lovely. Lots of trees and trails. The managers live here full time and are super nice and friendly. A few other people also are full time RVers. We enjoyed there company last night with fire pit. Parking my 39 foot 5th wheel was easy pull through. It’s not but about 6 miles from US 41 as we stayed only 1 night on our way to Chattanooga. We plan on staying here again on the way back home. No TV and WiFi is so-so but it is definitely worth staying here.

For Burdette Park: We were in a 30' class C and we had a full hookup. I am guessing that there are about 12 or so full and the rest are water & electric.
This is a quaint little municipal park that has concrete pads and asphalt paved roads. We were in a class C 30' and fit ok. But class A,s much over 40' might find it tight. There are a few permanent residence here including the caretakers who reside year round. There is also a nice water park here, fun for kids and grown ups. No cable tv and the wifi is spotty. Shower facilities are minimal. But it is very quiet and trees all around. If you want to be close to Evansville, this is the best nearby. Otherwise go to Audubon state park in KY, or go north to the 4H near Darmstadt.
