For S and H Campground: Not sure what the issues have been in the past but you should definitely check it out now. What a super wonderful place to stay. Live music in the evenings, a kids play area that puts some county fairs to shame, a food cafe that has some wonderful food to die for. Quite and peaceful. Someone has been investigating some major updates into this campground. Check it out you won’t be disappointed.

For S and H Campground: Save your money. These people are crooks. Had a month long reservation for May 2020, as we were going to be able to travel for the summer. S&H had to close due to government regulations for COVID 19. Manager kept telling me to call back every time I would call to get money back and then ended up saying all I can have is a credit. That is $700 that I won't get back since we are from out of state and don't know that we would ever be able to come to Indiana for that amount of time again, like we had planned this spring. During a time when we have lost work, that money is needed to pay bills. Instead it sits in a book in their office as a credit. Yep. I said a book. They are so backwards they don't even mail you a credit statement, gift card or put a note in a computer system. They literally keep it written in a book. That came straight from the manager's mouth! Beware! Keep your hard earned money in your pocket, not theirs.

For S and H Campground: Not the worst, but...
I echo all the previous reviews.
I'll add:
1. Hook ups are diabolical. A seasonal next door neighbor that works in the days and has cats roaming. He has his electrical plugged into our 50 amp. I went to office. Office came. Told me to plug into the 30 amp. I paid for 50. So he told me to plug into a vacant site. I'm hoping who ever comes on to the vacant site doesn't unplug us while we are out for the day.
2. Next trip to office: asked for wifi code. There isn't one. Just open wifi. I tried it with my firewall and it worked for three hours. Now the park wifi is offline. I'll stop at office as we leave today.
3. Garbage. No convenient dumpster. Then, as we were eating breakfast the workers drive by in a gator and picked up garbage. Of course, ours wasn't out because no one told us.
4 I can see why seasonals might like this place. They get to settle in and hook up wherever. Management doesn't bother them with rules and common courtesy.
5. Way overpriced, but as close to a high school sports event as we could get.
6. Neighbors campfire is 9 feet from our bedroom window. Or is that my fire pit he is using. Who knows? You have to be a seasonal to get first dibs.
7. We got a back in. Because the guy across the street is parked to road edge, I ran off the gravel as others have done. We watched a Tiffin do a pull through to keep from unhitching his toad. But, he really ran off the gravel and made huge ruts and had to unhitch anyway to leave in the morning.
8. Office staff should have a list of things they tell daily visitors. How to use wifi, where to put garbage, it is ok to leave the gravel, ...
9. We are not fans of KOA, but maybe we should have tried the KOA (Keep On Adding).
10. This park gets 2 because it was quiet last night and the 50 amp is strong. Otherwise a 1 and overpriced.

For S and H Campground: Don't let the name fool you. This is a tacky RV/trailer park with campground on the end. We camped, smashed between 2 year round campers, across from an abandoned, moldy-algae ridden motor home (probably 1980's).
The creekside playground is collapsed. There are showers & electric. Use the creekside shower (the water doesn't smell too bad there) but bring your own hooks...be prepared to be seen when using the restroom & shower. There is a nice pool but it's NOT heated! The WiFi doesn't work and the laundry room water is smelly well water -2 washers & 1 working dryer. We did laundry in town. Beware of holiday weekends since they can really pack 'em in!

For S and H Campground: Super letdown. Came in hearing good things. Primitive sites are very primitive- empty beer bottles. Dumpster filled to overflowing. Portapotty hasn't been cleaned in at least a week. Potential yes but not a current choice
Forgot to add- Wifi is useless. There are two parts to the camp, the nice center camp and the primitive "ghetto" which is in rough condition. We also had a dump truck loading up and driving away at 11:30PM. Still trying to figure that out

For S and H Campground: Bad! Very narrow roads in and out with branches hanging. Road filled with potholes, site not level, potholes. Big lake filled with algae. Mostly permanent season RVs. Laundry consists of one working washer and dryer. I don' t think I would try it with a big rig. We had a 32'FW and turns were tight with large trees next to road. $22.50 FHU with passport. Would not stay again.

For S and H Campground: Stayed 1 night. Recent flooding caused grounds problems. Nice pool, clean rest rooms. Entrance office building in need of repairs. Lot of what I would call permanent type RVs in this park.
