For Hardin Ridge Blue Gill: Large lovely campsites deep in the forest with some with water and electric hookups. The public showers take awhile for the automatic lights to go on. It also takes awhile for the water to warm up. The button needs to be pushed about every minute to keep the water running, which is annoying. It's a great place to stay to use Lake Monroe and to hike in the forest. But it is also a wonderful place to stay if you want to visit the surrounding area, such as quaint Nashville with its delightful shops or the college town of Bloomington with its lovely Indiana University campus! There are many loops in the same campground, called Hardin Ridge. I'm just not sure anymore which loop we stayed in since we were there mid September and I am writing this review in November 2015. So the review is for the general campground and not specifically for this loop.
