For Eisenhower State Park: Open year round. We stayed one night at the Doud campground, full hook up site was $23 for the night. Site was spacious and level. There is no roof on the bathroom, which would make for odd showering during inclement weather. Several people in the campground were clearly living there, but the area was clean and quiet. The park is about 12 miles off of I35, and we would overnight here again.

For Eisenhower State Park: Used the app to find this location. Just needed a place with full hookups for one night as I passed through.
Was really thrilled to find such a great place. I was here April 18 and pretty much had the place to myself. They appear to have it all! Campsites for horses, canoe rentals, fishing, lake swimming, yurts, cabins.
Worth a visit.
