For Calvins RV Camping: Pleasant little RV park- full hook ups (ours were all on one side) Friendly Staff, laundry available, free WiFi, we had a nice shady spot which is nice while staying during a Kansas Summer, also a storm cellar, again nice to have during summer storms) While not glamorous, it is pleasant

For Calvins RV Camping: Stayed one weekend night. Some spots are paved, some are not. Ours was, and was level. However our electricity and water were on one side and the sewer on the other which made it awkward. No Wi-FI. Proprietors we’re friendly and helpful. No showers. Train only went by once in the early evening otherwise very quiet. Would stay here again but just for a quick stop over.

For Calvins RV Camping: We are staying 2 nights (on weekend) and we have only heard one train go by in the evening so it did not bother us and there is no activity at the Caterpillar factory. The camp ground is neat and clean. We have not used any of the facilities so I cant comment on those. I would stop here again if needed.

Angie

For Calvins RV Camping: I stayed here for 3 months as I travel for work. Sites are spacious, each one is pretty long. There's only a few sites so it's pretty quiet as far as other campers go. There's a picnic table and fire ring with grill grate. It's only a mile walk from downtown Wamego shops and the Wizard of Oz Museum & Winery. It has a laundry room but only 1 washer and dryer. I ran into problems with people starting the washer and then letting it sit for up to an hour before they would come back. You're better off going to an actual laundromat. There is a storm shelter but thankfully, I never had to use it. The only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the train & factory noise. It's right next to a Caterpillar factory that runs day and night so there's some noise from that but the worst part is the train. I love to hear trains go by but the tracks are directly across the street, approximately 50' away from the park and the trains go through around 815-930pm, again at 1am, and again around 3am every single night. It wouldn't be bad if they didn't blow the whistle. It's so loud, there's not a sleep noise machine in this world that could drown it out. It actually vibrated my trailer. There's a nearby crossing so they blow the whistle before and as they go by. I realize this is out of their control but you will not sleep straight through the night here.

For Calvins RV Camping: Nice sites. Level. There is a train nearby but only a few times a day.
