For Kentucky Horse Park: I only give it a three star due to just an overnight. They only had primitive and we were walk ups. Charging $6 for reserve America even though we did not use it was kind of disappointing even though several other campsites don’t charge this fee for walk ups.if I can’t reserve same day I shouldn’t be charged that fee. It looks like a nice place for families and in a beautiful area.

For Kentucky Horse Park: Lovely large campground. In addition to the main campground which has paved roads and site pads and lots of trees, there are two “primitive” areas which are open fields of grass. In the primitive electric area yo up u can park anywhere and run an electrical extension cord to one of the numerous multi- outlet posts. The primitive electric area was a pleasant place off season but would feel very crowded if even 1/2 of the available electric hookups were in use.

For Kentucky Horse Park: OMG! This was perfect for family or a couple (us) with our gorgeous puppy. We were there in November so had sites same day. (FYI There phone number goes to answering/reservation service. So they didn't do any same day but figured...Monday in November can't be too busy. The answering service could have been better but we went anyway. The bathrooms were very clean. Camping store not open late (8am to 5pm) but grocery store approx 6 mi away). The sites are flat, well mowed and have everything a family would want - game room, basketball courts playground and tennis courts. The grounds match the Kentucky vibe. We'd definitely go again.

For Kentucky Horse Park: Came here to try out our new RV during new year. Nice clean facilities.

For Kentucky Horse Park: Nice open green park lots of room. Stopped overnight mainly to do laundry and dump tanks. After hours checkin was very easy. Would recommend.

For Kentucky Horse Park: Loved this nice green park. It rained so some mud where cars ran over grass. Great access to the Horse Park and drive through country. We stayed 3days in a 20 ft. TT

For Kentucky Horse Park: Made a big mistake by stopping here on October 9. The office was not open although we arrived 15 minutes before posted closing time. We set up in the overflow lot and waited until morning to check in. The real surprise came when they told us there was a 5 day minimum because it was “Halloween “ season!! October 9? Anyway we had to pay $163.75 to stay at a place we had only planned on staying for 1-2 nights max. Plus if we move our unit we are not guaranteed a spot even though we have paid for it. (Unlike the reserved sites who only pay $2 more per night. In the future I will skip this park and Lexington. I might just skip Kentucky altogether!!
