For Poches Fish N Camp: Everything everyone said is true. BUT. They need to address the woeful lack of restroom facilities. Two toilets, two showers. Cement block, curtains for doors. Inside the pool enclosure. Our camp was .7 miles from the toilet and the showers were just yucky. Not acceptable at $40/night. Nope. Otherwise cute, clean, quiet, nice. No dump station either. Lots of cute rental cabins. Take one and make it a nice camp restroom. Then I’ll give you more stars.

For Poches Fish N Camp: What a nice find. Lovely park. Multiple lakes, very pretty. Good room between sites, which are cement and level. Good hookups, upgraded pedestals in first section. Drive into park and to first several sites has been repaved. Potholes in the back area around the loop, understand plan to repave there also. Most sites back up to water. A few pull through. Small pool, playground. Fisherman’s paradise. Friendly management.

For Poches Fish N Camp: Road into camp is quite rough, potholed, be careful, go very slow. Sites around the lake are scenic, ours had a swing. Bathhouse/shower is in the pool, without a door, open to the elements, so quite chilly. Friendliest staff

For Poches Fish N Camp: The local roads to get are rough. But I was impressed with this park for the price. Concrete parking pads, spotless laundry, nice play ground for kids with a water spray park. Would defiantly stop in again.

Some of the roads from I-10 to the campground were pretty rough but adjusting speed and course when possible around the rough pavement and all was fine.
Check in was smooth and we were given a map with all the empty slots marked and told we could have our pick. Drove around the lakes twice and picked spot 28. The road was mostly gravel, and they were making some improvements. Most of the spots are back in to the left, nice angle and you rear is on the lake. Nice cement pad, perfectly level with power, water, and sewer at the rear of the site. Fire rings at every other site. Picnic tables at every site. The sites were close together with very nice grass between on most. With Good Sams rate was $30. per day.
Laundry and bath areas were spotless, washing machines and driers pretty new, worked well.
Very relaxing campground with fishing at your door. Paperwork provided and camp staff can give excellent suggestions on local restaurants, all we visited were excellent. The people of the area are warm and friendly. In every restaurant we struck up conversation with locals sitting at nearby tables, all very willing to offer up suggestions about local activities.
I very much hope to return one day.

For Poches Fish N Camp: If you fish, go. We don't, but still really enjoyed our stay. It is a very peaceful surrounding (except over the weekend there may be some campers partying it up a bit). But it is a great place to hang out or walk by the several lakes. I gave it 4 stars only because there is only one bathroom with showers by the pool, which wasn't very central or inviting, so we used our own. The laundry facilities were great tho. I would go back if in the area for sure.
