For Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort: Place got sold and now they won't leave us alone, trying to force us to show up for some crap meeting. Probably trying to force us to pay more just because they're greedy and think they can bully us. All the ppl who lived there were tossed out. Nothing is better, just greedier! Please save yourself a lot of greedy crap and join a campground that doesn't try to rip you off because they're greedy and are fine with screwing you over.

For Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort: We spent last weekend here. Mostly seems to just be locals like us. Can't count on them to follow their own activities calendar, and most there seem to be used to this.
Bingo and a live music event only 2 Saturday activities and both were cancelled with no notice and no worker even bothered to show up to say so. Swimming the only thing to do really.

Ask around before you buy in here. I wish we had.

For Hideaway Ponds Recreational Resort: Old "resort"... a lot of old trailers and people living here. Used Coast to Coast... thinking I was paying the normal $10 membership fee... then it was $5 for cable and taxs which is protocol... then $5 for pull through, $5 for Internet, $5 for 50 amp... you see what I mean ! Cable was snowy and in and out! Internet was metered and slow ... the pool was nice but not heated. There was an indoor pool and hot tub in a dingy building... we have traveled for the last 6 months on the road and this was the worst excuse for a coast to coast resort. At least the price should have reflected the quality of the resort. This should not be a coast to coast.
