For Sam Houston Jones State Park: Very pretty park! It is on a bayou and you will find a nice boardwalk and trail to view it better. Boat ramp to the lake. We got there late and had a bit of a hard time finding our site, but asked the camp hosts and all was well. People were friendly, it was quiet and enjoyable. Easy to get to from the highway.

For Sam Houston Jones State Park: Have stayed here a number of times. I have enjoyed the companionship of staying with a group of friends. Lots of shade.
