For Jude Travel Park of New Orleans: Nice people run this place. They live onsite and are real friendly. That have a nice property and a security gate that closes at 6pm. BUT....
There is a train depot behind their RV site. I would recommend staying one night too see if you can handle the noise. We stayed 3 nights and I survived.
They are right off the bus route so you can get down to the French Quarter in about an hour with a transfer to a trawley at Canal street. Be sure and ask for the All Day pass $3 when you get on the bus in the morning. Exact change.
Nice place to stay though if you like train noise at night.
