For Campers Cove - Clearwater Lake Provincial Park: We were looking for a place in the general area to stay to rest for a couple of days and see the sights. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed a Saturday and Sunday in early June in our 8 meter (25 foot) MH.
There are 2 CGs at Clearwater Lake Provincial Park. Pioneer Bay is about 10 km (6 mi) further along MB 287. We stayed at Campers Cove, closest to The Paw. This is a nice campground. The park is clean and well maintained. The sites are mostly large, level and shaded. Most are electric only with a few unserviced. There was weak, intermittent ATT and Verizon cell signals while roaming on Rogers service.
The sites are walking distance from the beach and a boat ramp. The CG is about 25 km (15 mi) from The Pas. The Sam Waller Museum provided good history of the region.
