For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: Costly, but so is everything else in the area. We had a beautiful site right on the water. The bath house was the BEST!!! Staff was friendly and helpful. We were in a camper van and didn’t need hookups so we were in a nicely treed area.

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: Great place
Friendly staff. Very Clean, staff constantly around picking up or getting other campers settled in.
Laundry was plentiful and in excellent condition.
Would highly recommend and if we are ever back in the area will stay again.

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: This campground is in a fantastic location. We paid for the waterfront site and enjoyed the fantastic sunsets. From reading the reviews and observing what is happening at the campground, I think that this is an evolving campground, and it is going in the right direction! I would be glad to stay here again. And, I would be paying the extra for a water front site. It’s a destination campground! Bar Harbor at its best!

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: This place is all about the location. It is just across the causeway onto Mount desert island. It’s about a 20 minute drive to the Acadia national Park visitor center. It is directly on the water. It has many campsites that directly face the ocean. The place was clean it. The laundry facilities were far better than average. It has a small converted trailer that is used as a snack bar. They have playgrounds, a dog park and a small camp store. They were doing a lot of construction when we were there in June 2019. They appeared to be upgrading several more sites to 50 amp electric service. The electricity was adequate. The cable TV had quite a few analog channels but the picture quality was extremely poor. We had one of the sites directly facing the water. It made for a truly fantastic sunset. Note that the waterfront sites do not have a sewer hook up. They do have a pump out service if you need it.

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: May 2018: this KOA has just undergone a rehab on the sites for pull-thru full hookups. They were scraped off and leveled with gravel in late 2017 and are long enough for big rigs with tows; the sewer, water, and electric connections are brand new. They have installed flagstone patios with new fire pits at each of these newly refurbished sites with a barbecue grill that has a pre-filled propane tank ready for you to use. The laundry facility is clean and only $1 and $1.75 to use. Showers are very nice and completely private with your own separate room and door. Views are gorgeous and grounds are maintained very well. Cannot assess the elec/water only sites other than they are smaller, some have slightly better views, are mostly grass ( no gravel) and are not as level as these. The tent sites look great—right on the water, or as close as you can get. Nice camp store and friendly hosts.

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: Great location if you can get a site right on the water. Sites themselves are very basic- either gravel sites or grass sites in a field- and many look very unlevel. It looks like they are making upgrades to the campground.

For KOA Holiday Bar Harbor Oceanside: This is an overpriced field. We had a pullthru and it was in the middle of a field. There was no roads or designated camping sits. Some were put close and if they had a car you could not move your RV. When we left in the morning we had to move the fire ring and the table so I could leave. It stated they had WiFi and cable. Only some had cable and not the ones in the field. Wifi was weak and most of the time did not work. This was our first and will be our last say at a KOA
