For Cedar Haven Campground: Great campground, level sites, great showers with hot water. Friendly helpful staff. I was surprised how quiet it was as it backs up to a housing development. Lots of trees.

For Cedar Haven Campground: Nice quiet smaller campground with full hookups. Campground is wooded, convenient to Freeport ME. Owners-operators very helpful and friendly. Sites are graveled and fairly level. While distance to get here precludes a return soon, we would definitely choose this campground again and will recommend it to others. Site 28 was very suitable for our 31ft 5th wheel. Campground was able to accommodate us on short notice when our reserved site at another campground was found to be unsuitable.

For Cedar Haven Campground: Nice, quaint family campground close to LL Bean and Freeport village. We originally planned to stay at Bradbury Moubtain SP but then decided we wanted hookups as opposed to dry camping with no dump station. Found Cedar Haven online and glad we did. This is a cute, smaller campground with a pond and kayaks for rent, a nice playground area for kids and even a dog wash station. Wood cabin like buildings throughout and woodsy sites. Be careful about picking a site - use the camp map. Some sites will be tight for larger rigs. Our RV is 29 feet and we just squeaked into our site. Overall, a nicely laid out, quiet campground with a peaceful feel.

For Cedar Haven Campground:
Nice campground well maintained. Separate 30 and 50 amp sites full hookups. The campground is a little tight for big rigs mine is a 35ft. There are some moderate sized sites but most are small. Good shade at most sites and some family activities. A nice touch is the dog wash. All campsites have a small fire a pit and they do supply firewood for a fair price. Camping is a little pricey at $59 dollars a night. They do take reservations paid in full, closed on Saturday. Just a couple miles from Freeport. Will stay again.

Bill
For Cedar Haven Campground: Friendly people, and decent facilities. The pull-through sites adjacent to the office are very close together. Our neighbours’ kids were not particularly loud, but ordinary conversation in early morning was only about four feet from our pillows. The first night there we didn’t have neighbours and a spotlight on the office roof shone right in our window, so we had to keep it closed overnight. Ironically, the neighbour’s trailer blocked the spotlight the next two nights - but they left their porch light on all night! (Not the CG’s fault.) There is also a chicken yard in the CG with a resident rooster that starts to crow at 5:15 AM! That may be a comfort to some of you farm folk, but we were just not ready to be awakened at that hour.

For Cedar Haven Campground: A fantastic campground: nice hosts, super clean throughout, wooded, good spacing between sites, quiet, accommodates all sizes, free shuttle to downtown Freeport, pet friendly. We stayed in our motor home and would gladly visit again.

Lisa Meyer
For Cedar Haven Campground: This is absolutely the best RV park we have stayed at. It’s immaculately clean, lots of amenities on site: ice, firewood, mini store with some food and camping accessories as well as gifts, gameroom, pond with geese, boats you can go on the pond in, small dining area for pizza Friday nights, shuttle service to and from the downtown, and sooooo much more. This place is well thought out, even though it’s heavily wooded in the back, all the trees are limbed up nicely and it’s very easy to get around. Each site is meticulously groomed and there is plenty of space to get in each site. The staff is, by far, THE nicest staff I have encountered on any camping trip we have been on. They go out of their way to accommodate any request or help with anything. They live on site here. They must work all day long every day keeping this place as clean and manicured as it is. It’s very quiet here and very peaceful. There are picnic tables and fire pits. There is a larger picnic table overlooking the pond if you had a larger group. There isn’t a single thing I would change about this place. I would stay here over and over again. There are no long term trashy campers on site with a hundred little doo dads outside all over the place. It’s perfect here.
