We love the north woods and this is the ultimate place to camp by tent or travel trailer ... plenty of space !! Definitely ask for water front !!!! ... it is beautiful to walk right down a path on your site to see the most beautiful view of a life time !! Fishing is great !!! My first time fishing and I caught a 7 lb bass !! And almost caught 2 more but got away from me ... this is primitive camping ... but just come prepared .
Can’t say enough for the staff from the gate entrance to the camp hosts !!! They are wonderful and accommodate you when need be !!!!
We were treated like kings and queens !! We had an issue with our truck battery and the gate entrance got the host right away for a jump !! Nicest people .. KUDOS TO MARION WHO TOOK CARE OF US ABOVE AND BEYOUND AT THE GATE ENTRANCE !!! cleanest grounds and the wind life I saw in 9 days (almost every day was amazing !!!! I have great videos of deer galore !! And photos of deer ... I saw a moose down the road toward kakadjoe on a side road (just taking a short day ride ... I will definitely be coming back here again !!!! Better than any off grid campground I know !!!
