For Old Orchard Beach Family Campground: First impressions - it is a well maintained park, with mostly helpful people. Check in was pleasant and efficient. Tow car was disconnected and went through gate first. When I approached gate in 45’ DP, gate closed in front of me (expected). Gate guard looked at me ahs I signaled asking if he could open gate for me. He simply stared at me. I opened window and asked if he could open gate. His response was, “Do t you have a card?” I explained tow vehicle etc. Rather than simply opening gate, he proceeded to lecture me that I should have asked for two cards. So, first impression not so great. I sat at the gate until driver of tow vehicle parked, walked back to gate to open gate for me. After passing gate, my spot required me to make a right turn down a hill. I was unable to make the turn due to tail swung that would have taken out the gate control/power box. Once at my spot, I was only able to get into the spot because no one was in the spot I front of me allowing me to maneuver. Although the description claims they accept big rigs, this park is NOT Big Rig Friendly. Anything 40’ or more in length would have a difficult time

For Old Orchard Beach Family Campground: First class RV Park, easy off the interstate I95 for a night in our 40 ft coach with a toad. Supermarket nearby for provisions and a very cordial staff; highly recommend
