For Log Cabin Resort and Campground: We used the dump station at this campground for $10. We were boondocking locally via Boondockers Welcome (lovely hosts), but if we couldn’t have done that, this campground would’ve been entirely acceptable. The sites are about average spacing for a private campground with each having a small grassy area with picnic table between them. Currently about $30-45/nt based on partial-full hookups. I’d personally probably prefer the sites on the perimeter as opposed to the pull offs in the center or next to the dump station (avoid), unless I had small kids, since there’s a large open space in the center with ladder golf and things for the kids to do. The perimeter has trees at the rear and the last site on the left (center) was heavily treed which we would’ve loved assuming our 37’ fit. They have river access and for $15 you can rent a tube and they’ll pick you up down at the park by the bridge. Fun! We may kayak that this week! Laundry looked to be $1.25 or so to wash and $1 to dry. Only 1 washer and 1 functioning dryer. This area is conveniently located to most things in the UP. Kitch-it’s-kipi and Fayette (ghost town) one way, Pictured Rocks/Munising where boat tours launch NW, Tahquemenon Falls, and Grand Marais is NE, Sault Ste Marie and Soo locks is a bit farther East/NE. Most things are within an hour of this area. Grocery stores are small and limited, so do your big shopping before you get here.

For Log Cabin Resort and Campground: My wife and I stayed at this campground 2 years ago and loved it. We both considered it one of the prettiest RV parks we had stayed at. Therefore when we decided to go north this summer I made reservations for us to stay there once again. However when we got there we noticed that all the trees around the pull through sites had been cut down. In addition when we checked we discovered that they had lost our reservation. The elderly woman checking us in said the same thing had happened the day before. The woman checking us in asked if I had the confirmation email they send out. I never received that email. If they ever sent us because I asked a camper who was camping there and he said he never received an email. Therefore if you make reservations at this campground call before you get there. As for wife and I we will stay somewhere else.
