For Platte River Campground - Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore: Absolutely beautiful campground and National Park. We stayed early May for 3 nights and it was empty Site 316 with 34ft 5th wheel and plenty of room. 50amp but no water. Sites are fully wooded and spaced out so and even in high season it would be okay.
Would return here so we could kayak. Did a lot of hiking but too cold to get on the water or bike.

For Platte River Campground - Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore: Beautiful campground walking distance to the lake and the river with nice modern bathrooms and showers.
Please note. Registrations are required here now. You might get in midweek if you’re lucky like we did but our stay was cut short since the place was all booked up.

For Platte River Campground - Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore: Wonderful area and wonderful campground. Our National Park service holds very high standards. Safe, spacious, organized. Makes me proud to be an American. We fit our 36ft 5th wheel in a pull-through without difficulty. The back-in spots look like they can accommodate large rigs too.
