For Thunder Bay RV and Golf Resort: VERYNice little campground. The sites were all completely level, asphalt with large grass lots between and each had a little rod iron table and chair set. The sites look out over the golf course. The golf course was very well-maintained and gorgeous. We stayed two nights using Passport America.

For Thunder Bay RV and Golf Resort: This park is a well-kept secret near Alpena, Michigan. It is a 23-spot full hook-up park on a beautiful golf course. We don’t golf but we enjoy walks and bike rides with our dogs before and after golf hours on the course. There is a bar and grill with live music, karaoke, and very good and reasonably priced food and drink just a short walk away. There is a community fire pit. Sites are concrete and level with a nice patio area. Remote but Alpena about 20 minutes away. No bathhouse so have to be self-contained. Owner is a delightful gentleman! Can’t wait to do the horse-drawn carriage ride to see the elk and have a 5-course dinner! Highly recommend!

For Thunder Bay RV and Golf Resort: This is a great camp especially if you are looking for full hookups in the area. Paved pads. Great wifi. Good restaurant. Friendly people. Try to come when they are taking folks for their elk viewing ride and dinner. Bonus if you golf. (On site). No washroom or showers. Laundry in town.
