For Oak Grove Campground Resort: The campground is a bike ride away from the beach and a short drive to downtown Holland. It is a very well kept campground, has a nice pool, and the upgraded sites are very roomy. We have stayed here twice in three years and will be back.

For Oak Grove Campground Resort: Pay the extra $10 for a premium site,
A great place for families and kids
What we liked: Family friendly. Great location. Nice people. Quiet. Felt safe. Great amenities pool, hot tub, clean restrooms, private showers.
Pay the extra $10 for a premium site, they are paved, level and wide. The other spots are tight and can be a challenge backing in. Especially with the other campers vehicles adjacent to the narrow roads and the permanent mobile homes across from the sites. We had to move our truck fir our neighbor to park. Our other neighbor moved his so we could easily leave.
What we didn’t like:
The nickel and dime pricing, charging for every little thing including charging for visitors, pets, extra children. Having to use a six digit number to get in AND out. Only two devices on WiFi with a 10 digit code that couldn’t be transferred to another devise.

For Oak Grove Campground Resort: Wonderful, safe campground. We did not mind coded gates because it seemed like a safer place. The grounds are immaculate. Showers, restrooms, laundry areas are super clean. The pool and hot tub looked clean but we did not use them.
We had a little difficulty backing into our spot but not enough to take away a star. We stayed here for four nights in a 39ft 5th wheel.
Holland is a beautiful town! The lake was gorgeous.

For Oak Grove Campground Resort: Holland is a lovely place to stay but unfortunately there is only one RV resort and the state park. Oak Grove is a wonderful campground. It's superbly clean and well-manicured. The sites are level and reasonably spaced apart. We camped in a 37' fifth wheel and had just minimal trouble backing it in because of the 90 degree angled sites. The camp store, laundry room, and bathrooms were all great. Did not use the showers, pool, or jacuzzi but they looked nice. We didn't particularly like the gate with coded entry but I suppose it adds a level of security. The premium sites where we stayed had 2 community fire pits. I think I only saw two fires at night during the week we stayed. I would much prefer having my own fire pit on site. Our site backed up to the road but it wasn't a negative at all. In fact, the resort was very quiet even on the weekend when it was full.

For Oak Grove Campground Resort: Very nice and professional location. Lots for kids to do, also has pool and jacuzzi. Lots of rules, but nothing too draconian. There seem to be several live in or long term folks here. Spaces can be pretty tight but our 15 foot camper had no issues. Wifi is decent. Good location as well.

For Oak Grove Campground Resort: Well maintained sites are hard to back into with a 32' motor home.
