David

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: Lots of trash on site, fire pit full of plastic bottles. Grass overgrown. Lots of activities for the kids but most dated and in need of repair or upkeep. Staff were polite but poorly trained. Unable to answer questions or adjust errors. Hugely overpriced.

Terri

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: As others have stated, the worst campground! Poorly maintained, grass hadn’t been mowed in weeks, sites are not level and just mud. Ours had cable/electric lines sticking out of the ground causing a tripping hazard. This really should not be a KOA until they can maintain it properly. The young people working don’t care.

Jean Hinds

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: We would give less than one star if possible. This is the worst campground we ever stayed at. There was very very little gravel in the roads and the sites it was terrible. There was nothing more than mud to drive on and to park the RV in. Yes there was a lot of rain but that is no excuse for the poorly cared for campground. We asked who would pull us out if we were to be stuck in the mud but they didn’t seem to care. I guess we would need to pay the daily rate until we did get out of the mud. We were shown 3 sites before we found one that was not sinking mud. We won’t be staying here again. Good thing we were only there for 1 night. KOA should be ashamed they even list this campground and carry the KIA name. I did find many things for kids like a playground, bounce mat and other such things. I am sure the campers loved to have the kids back in campers with mud all over.

Kimberly Hart

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: This is the worst KOA we have ever experienced. The staff is awful and not at all interested in helping you. We were assured a full-hook up and yet offered a deluxe site which they had to come around twice a week to drain our tanks- we were forgotten all but twice. Twice a week we had to chase down the tank to remind them ours needed emptied. Asking for help at the front desk or from the manager was useless. The manager never returned our calls and the front desk staff I worked with was not at all interested in even trying to find out what was going on. The play structure area smelled like sewage the entire month we were there and my husband tracked down the culprit. There was a sewer vent about 3" wide sticking out of the ground RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BOUNCY PAD. super dangerous and extremely smelly. Its not like they care or want us to, but we will never return. They are close to the Ren Faire though and that was a fun plus ....for one day. :|

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: This place does NOT deserve one star. You should avoid this KOA. Facilities are a sham. Not to mention constant barking dogs Site unlevel. Thankful we are passing through.

Gerald Hill

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: The very WORST place I've ever camped. Terrible service, crude sites, foul smelling water, and kids running the place that don't know a thing about camping

Lonnieba

For KOA Auburn Hills Holly: This place needs so much work. Poor sites, broken hook-ups and water that contains gray sediment. I feel it shouldn't qualify as a KOA.
