For Silver Lake State Park: We stayed in site 39 in May 2021 and had a great time hiking the dunes at the state park - So unique and beautiful. Cool to see all the dune buggies racing around also. After watching them, we hiked the opposite direction up and down the dunes and had a 1/2 mile section of Lake Michigan all to ourselves. 😊 The campground was very tight and we could nearly touch 2 of our neighbors RVs. If you can get a site in front row by the lake, those have more room with beautiful view of dunes across the lake. Shower house was clean. While not our favorite campground, we’d definitely still stay here again as the park is so amazing.

For Silver Lake State Park: This is a lovely family oriented campground. Nice size sites with lots of trees. Close to dunes and all local attractions. Majority of sites are beautifully maintained seasonal. Stayed 3 days in Sept ‘19. This will be my first choice when returning.
