Francie C

For KOA Holiday Monroe Co Toledo North: Mixed feelings. Check in staff was terrific. Sites are a bit cramped. Our site didn’t have designated water - despite full hook ups - and had to get extra hose to be able to reach faucet on opposite side of our RV. Didn’t use multitude of amenities so can’t comment on those. Do agree with other reviews, the water is full of sulfur which has definite affect on smell and taste. Plenty of shade, easy highway access. Spent 3 nights in 35’ toy hauler.

For KOA Holiday Monroe Co Toledo North: The worst KOA we have stayed at. Packed in like sardines and no rules were enforced. We will not return.

New Camper

For KOA Holiday Monroe Co Toledo North: Staff was friendly at the desk. Mid week visit. Pretty empty. The catch and release fishing pond and the swimming pond seem to be being enjoyed.

Shower/bath was a little better than average and seemed clean. In our travels we find KOAs to be a little consistent in this respect. Water seemed fine in our space but we have filter on camper and drink with bottled. Shower and sink no smells as per previous review.

Many new fancy cabins seem popular.

Stayed only one night. It met our needs.

Travel More

For KOA Holiday Monroe Co Toledo North: The campground needs a bit of upkeep and the announcements at 9pm were very loud and woke up my sleeping child. The staff wasn't very warm and the camp store was dirty. But the biggest complaint is the water. We washed our clothing at their laundry facilities and now they all smell very strongly of sulfur. No need to mention the water also tasted horrible. At least a warning that the water is bad in the laundry room would have been appreciated.
