Kachen

For Jellystone Park Petoskey: High marks for manager Ken and the office staff. We had to move to a shadier site and they were friendly and helped us, no problem. It was a smaller site so they refunded the difference. Part of this campground is older and the sites are in the trees, nice for shade and screening but smaller. The new part of the campground is nice w/deluxe full hookup sites that are well spaced, flat, and have new patio furniture, but it is HOT. Tirees and bushes do not provide shade or privacy. Made for Class As that can run AC all the time and people can stay indoors all the time. Not fun in our Class B, that’s why we moved.

Gypsy

For Jellystone Park Petoskey: Nice campground, but spaces are a bit tight. Good access to bike path that leads into Petoskey. Wi-Fi is very slow, but Internet was adequate. Gender shared showers.

Opie2019

For Jellystone Park Petoskey: I don’t know how to rate this place. It was new, big, sparkling clean, fenced dog run, free continental breakfast, FHU, level and paved. The landscape was new so there is no privacy. It was $104 a night and was like staying in a giant empty parking lot.

judy

For Jellystone Park Petoskey: Up for a wedding. Called in February after downloading site map. Only the 800 number answered because Camp was closed for winter. Was told site I wanted was booked but would be on the wait list. Was thrilled to get a call about a month out that there’d been a cancellation. This is a HOLIDAY KOA. One step down from a KOA Resort. KOA haS 4 levels of amenities. This is level 2. Staff was more than helpful with hook up questions. Bathhouses were bleachy clean. My kind of place. With all the young families there I had expected noise at night and in the AM. Not so. Very peaceful. Hope to get back next summer for our annual Northern Michigan trip.

Blackie

For Jellystone Park Petoskey: We come and stay here every Father's Day weekend for the soccer tournament. Great hospitality. They were very accommodating. Sites are nice and bathrooms are clean. The cable tv situation is a hassle due to Charter's requirement to have a box for every set. This is no fault of KOA. They readily gave us 3 mini boxes. Wi-FI signal is good but speed is slow.
