For KOA Higgins Lake Roscommon: Unfortunately this KOA was overpriced and provided poor restroom facilities. Several bathrooms were out of order and some were unusable. In addition the water hookup was far away from site.two stars given due to kind staff.

For KOA Higgins Lake Roscommon: Very basic and tight for the price. We had a level back-in site off a road that was not paved. It was full hook-up 30a and it was shaded but the trees were so tight that it was like threading a needle to get our class A in there. I had a tree so close to the rear quarter that I couldn't open my storage. Trees to close for awning to go out as well. Moderately quiet. The kids loved the inflatable bounce house style slide. Stayed here for a few days while we waited for our reservation at the state park down the road. For us the state park was a much better value and overall our preference but you give up water and sewer. We have big tanks so we just dumped and filled up water before we left and we were good to go.

For KOA Higgins Lake Roscommon: Not mentioned anywhere that I saw on web nor I have ever had this happen before, but they charge an additional $15 for early check in. Check in is at 3. No review has mentioned this either. It's an ok park. Not the best KOA I have been to, but not the worst either.

I would come back but would time my checkin to after 3.
