For Cuyuna Country State Rec Area: As for the campground itself, I would give it four stars. Nice open lawn campsites, close to a swim beach on a lake,and world class mt bike trails. Down side is that there apparently is no on site management and the state reservation system is not user friendly!There is no indication on the individual sites when one arrives without a reservation to let a potential camper know if that site is already reserved. One has to call or go online to find out if the site has already been taken. As an experienced camper, I have never experienced such an unwelcoming and cumbersome system!
