For Pipestone RV Campground: Stayed here once and once was one to many times. They were nice at check in but then it ended when we were unhappy with our location ... and just left in the little golf cart. They had us park so had to unhook and move the Tow vehicle as said another unit coming in and would be about 3' away. Well, no one ever showed up. Our power cord barely reached the box, it took every inch of water hose (50 foot) to reach the water hookup and also barely reached the sewer dump and told the sewer dump had just been 'serviced.' ?? Odd, when we dumped the tanks before departing, the effluent was pouring out of the dump onto the ground so couldn't even flush our sewer hose.
We were sited next to a big steel building. Not known to us and not mentioned, they had some teen dance the 2nd night there and you know who a loud dj system echoes in a steel building it went on until about 11PM so loud we could not hear the TV !! Plus several walk in doors next to use were wide open for ventilation and noise exposure. Did not use the shower/firerings/pool or any other 'facilities' and spent as little time as possible at the campground. We suffered thru for our paid stay. The morning we packed up to leave was a very happy time. Will never stay in this dumpy place again as a parking lot would be better IMO.

For Pipestone RV Campground: I don't know who was doing the reviews on the Good Sam web site that managed to rate this campground a 9.5 star out of 10
A trip into the bathroom alone would have dropped that rating significantly! They were DISGUSTING, to the point that my husband finally refused to shower in them. The park is not well laid out, the centre area, where we were, is apparently a spoke of a wheel with all of the power and water in the centre of the spoke and each site out from that area, giving each unit a piece of pie... Well that results in everyone being butted up to one another in the centre of the spoke. If you want to get up close and friendly with the strangers next to you our across the wheel.... I could here the units next door closing cupboard doors! The fire pits in each site were wither at the base of a tree or so close to the road way that only half of the fire ring was actually useable. The sanidump station was located beside the bath house, main building and if you had a unit larger than 30 feet you would find it extreamly difficult to navigate around and get lined up with the "services" The park was noisy, everyone enjoying the make as much noise as ya'll want until when ever ya'll get tired! We will NEVER visit again. If you do visit Pipestone, and you do stay at this park, we recommend using the sani station at the water tower, straight in and out and it is free. I gave the park 2 stars because the power was sufficient that everyone could run their air conditioning, the WiFi was pretty good, and the pool appeared to be nice. Though with it being hit, a full park and childern without bathing diapers we did not go in!
