For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: We have been here for 10 days. The owners have been more than accommodating. Beautiful huge oak trees, nice spots. Surrounded by farms. Really enjoyed this CG. You can tell the owners have heard it all. But, they are actually really nice folks. Don’t forget it’s a 7 day per week/24hour labor of love. They get exhausted too.

For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: Not a bad place to stop. Has that midwest charm of corn fields in the distance, green grass and beautiful trees. Bathrooms are okay, firepits at each site, picnic tables and decent space between sites. Little smaller on Koa side, but all the essentials

For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: Overall a nice campground. Sites very level, a cement patio for eating on picnic table, nicely treed for shade, nicely spaced camp sites. Led to the site which was nice because we essentially were able to pull through instead of back in. Well placed hook ups. Decent showers. I didn’t hear the road noise from I 90 at all. Location is great for getting off the interstate. It was close to being a 5 star. Definitely a decent campground to stay at while passing through or if you have to stay a few nights.

For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: All hookups worked well. The staff was very friendly. The sites were roomy but very tight to maneuver in and out of. There were fire rings, posts, and trees that made it difficult to easily move. The WiFi did not work well.

For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: Very clean and organized campground. We arrived on Thursday June 14th without a reservation and were able to get a site. Sites are very level gravel with a concrete patio, table and some with fire rings. WiFi was good, but no cable. Quite. Nice pool and dog run. We paid $45 plus tax for a 30/50 Amp site with water and sewer.

For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY. Trees caught the top of our rig when we checked in, but we made it and they said they would trim them. It rained over night the site flooded with water, and the next day when leaving the trees damaged our rig. We struggled to get out of the campground and they never once offered to help. The management acted as if it were our fault and took no responsibility in maintaining the trees. My guess is they sell the walnuts and didn't want to lose any by trimming them. Unfortunately, now they will have an insurance claim because it. Nice place but I was very disappointed in the management and their lack customer service. Our experience in the midwest has been so good - I hate this put a damper on it.

Keith
For KOA Journey Rochester Marion: Very clean and convenient stop for an over night. Friendly staff. The only negative is that if you are tent camping there is constant traffic noise from I90.
