For Side Lake - McCarthy Beach State Park: I tent camp and found that I didn't feel like a little house in the big city. Sites close to lake are nice for parking a boat. (Caught lots of nice panfish) I might add they did the same off the fishing pier. Close to a store, nice fish cleaning house and a clean shower.
