For Wallace State Park: Prettiest part of Missouri we've seen. Excellent helpful host. Beautiful sites. The water and dump site is immaculate, enormous, and fully functional. Easy pleasant drive off interstate and very close to US-36.

For Wallace State Park: You would be hard-pressed to find a better state campground than this one. Go swimming in the lake or take a hike on their many trails. Check-in was very easy and very pleasant. The camp host checked me in with no problem and was helpful with a water pump issue that I had. I was fortunate to have a pull through site. We stayed for one night passing through to Texas. We would definitely stay here again.

For Wallace State Park: Beautiful State Park. Easy access from I-35. Wooded w lovely trees, lake, many sites have covered picnic tables, fire rings. Some sites have level cement pads. Off season (Nov - April 15) is not crowded at all, but showers are not open.
Wonderful walks for doggies. Squirrels, deer, geese, woodpeckers. Very pleasant Camp Host. Reservations online thru Missouri State Parks. Res recommended for weekend stays during high season. Tick advisory.

For Wallace State Park: Pretty lil’ park with beautiful, level concrete sites. The gravel sites looked level, as well (concrete on the inner loop, gravel on the outer loop). Electric only but you can fill up with water when you check in. Dump avail, bathrooms clean and great showers. Antenna TV was clear as a bell. Very clean sites each with a fire pit and picnic table, ample room and large grass areas. Quiet, well run by friendly & helpful camp hosts. Fire wood and ice for $. Reservations are a must to secure a spot. We missed out on our trip north, made sure we had them for our trip home. Highly recommend!

For Wallace State Park: Very nice, quiet, pretty surroundings with forest all around. Lake within short walk. Excellent campground infrastructure. All roads paved. Loop 2 interior sites nearly all paved with wide spacing, lots of lawn grass under trees. Loop 2 exterior sites mostly gravel tucked into forest. Same at loop 4 with nearly all sites paved. Would give this five stars but it is 30A electric only, no water no sewage. Very nice dump site. Would stay here again. Good place.
