For Pershing State Park: Nice campground, clean bathrooms, very helpful host. Another worker also helped me early in the rain at the RV dump. Some great hiking within walking distance. Strangest marble statue I’ve ever seen in a rustic state park. Big Q: why on earth doesn’t Missouri State Parks allow same day reservations? Very stressful for transit campers!!

For Pershing State Park: Campgrounds were very clean. Camp host was very friendly. We would definitely camp here again.

For Pershing State Park: After a long drive we were very happy to find this park. Very beautiful. Manicured green grass separated RV sites with cement pads. Electric only. Thunder and lightning overnight, but clear in the morning. Took a nature hike. Senior rate $19. Camp host very welcoming. Bathrooms spotless. 5 stars all the way.

For Pershing State Park: We chose this park so we could avoid driving through Kansas City on our cross-country trip. We got off I-70 at Columbia, Missouri and headed north on 63 to 36 West. Both great roads if you prefer to get off the interstates and the big trucks. Pershing State Park is a quiet small park - not many people there. There are only 5 or 6 occupied sit's on a weekday. Laundry room. Host was very friendly. Price was good -- $19.
