For Watkins Woolen Mill State Park: Nicely spaced sites. They counted the length of our tow vehicle when reserving a site. We stayed in site 78 with a 40’ Class A. Nice bike paths around the lake. Sites 35-97 closed November-March. Recycling bins are located throughout the Campground. Potable water st dump station. Laundry in shower house by the check station. Diana at check in was very friendly and helpful.

For Watkins Woolen Mill State Park: Very nice modern restrooms, sites are well spaced but may require leveling of trailer. Most will easily take all but largest campers. Low charge for what you get,,, very good value. Don't forget to see the old mill and visitor center which rates a 5.

For Watkins Woolen Mill State Park: Nice campground. Sites with lots of trees and space. Electric only. Most sites are gravel and will require effort to level rig. We were lucky to find a site with cement pad. Bathrooms and showers are modern and very clean. Camp hosts Jodi and Mike were extremely friendly and helpful. Wish we had time to spend a few days in area. Excelsior Springs, Watkins Woolen Mill and lake all look intriguing.

For Watkins Woolen Mill State Park: Facilities were clean and in good repair, but noise policy is not well enforced. I just camped there last night (Tuesday) and a radio was on until about midnight. Some one was loudly arguing until 2AM. Could not sleep at all.

For Watkins Woolen Mill State Park: This one is a ten on 1-5 scale. We loved the quiet and space between sites. Excellent restrooms with showers and laundry. Be prepared to level the camper on gravel sites. I suggest a reservation.
