For Keesler AFB FamCamp: Stayed 5 nights waiting out major storm. GPS and Apple map led me to housing next door rather than famcamp. Located off base in military housing area. From 1-10, need to stay straight on Atkinson road (no signs from freeway route. Camp host does outstanding job. Takes Reservation. Easy checkin process by cheerful employee. Large overflow area for dry camping. Office closes at 4pm but late checkin process available. Never used showers or laundry. Park busy with snowbirds in winter but no problem April. Verizon and ATT good signal.

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: Okay park. Restrooms need a little work. Went into one bathroom, one toilet wasn’t working at all and the other had no toilet paper. No WiFi at the sites. An okay park and the price is right.

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: I agree there isn't much for kids to do here but aside from that this really is a nice place to stay. The lady working the desk was very helpful and the site is level. Good TV reception without cable however the WiFi signal strength is weak. Follow the directions on the web site as GPS and Google maps don't seem to do as good a job. I'd stay here again.

Missy

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: At first I would have left a good review but by end of trip definitely a 1 star. It's called a famcamp yet there is nothing fam about it. Would it kill them to just get a small swing set and slide for kids? There is literally no amenities. They claim they have cable and WiFi and ya they have cable(an entire 5 channels) and ya they have WiFi (but it never works and when it does you will realize dial up Internet from the 90s was faster). Then they went ahead and decided that I should have to share my space because all the over flow is full and the dirt space right next to my trailer is the last resort. So guess what that means? I'm sharing my electric box and water with someone who's camper is right outside my window who's furnace I can hear all night and can't sleep because of it. Not happy with this place at all. If your full your full don't force people who pay monthly to have to share their space with someone else. How about you stop being greedy and just tell them hey sorry we're full. Stay far far away from here. Much better resorts that actually have amenities down the road.

Kathie

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: Nice place to stay. Staff was very friendly. GPS directions were wrong to get into the fam camp. DO NOT go into the housing area, continue on Aitkenson Street past housing.

StargazerRadio

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: This has been a very nice stay for me since 4 March 2017. Originally, I was on site 23, which has no shade past midday, but that is the case for more than half the campground. There aren't many trees left since Hurricane Katrina destroyed the place in 2005. The sites that do have trees, though, get a nice natural help for the AC in the trailer. Since I am here for an extended stay (6 months) on a temporary duty assignment, I requested when site 34 came open if I could take it, and the camp hosts agreed. Site 34 is easily the best site in the park, with full shade most of the day and on the highest ground so there is no risk of flooding. The FamCamp hosts have been awesome, and very friendly. They are retired Air Force enlisted members; they understand all the quirks and uncertainties military life brings, and are always willing to help out anyone staying in the FamCamp.

The restroom/shower buildings are well kept, and are the only concrete structures in the FamCamp, so they double as tornado shelters. I have never had an issue with cleanliness or facilities not functioning. The office building also houses the laundry, and the office has a change machine for the laundry that will take up to $20 bills (I have tested this). It is unfortunate that the laundry is coin operated and costs $1.50 to $2.00 a load for washers and $1.50 for dryers, but at a monthly site rental fee of $420, this is still the most affordable RV park on the Gulf Coast with these amenities. The internet connection with the Verizon Jetpacks wasn't sufficient for me, so I had CableOne come out and install a wifi cable modem in my trailer for the time I am here. I am now able to stream movies and TV shows easily, and the camp hosts didn't mind as their cable service is through the same company.

Though I wouldn't normally come to Biloxi during the summer since I can't stand the humidity, I would have to say this is one RV park I would definitely stay at again. The staff have been excellent, the facilities in great repair, and the overall appearance is beautiful. The camp is bordered on one side by an off-base military housing community, and on the other side by Hiller Park. Behind it is a civilian residential area, which can get rowdy some nights, but that is quickly remedied by the police. You will likely hear trains going through the area every night as CSX has their primary Gulf Coast freight line barely a half mile south of the park, but it isn't unbearable and is easy to get used to. All in all, this is a very nice park to stay at. By next year, however, Keesler AFB may have a new FamCamp at a different location, since they just started construction on it.

Bob Arnold

For Keesler AFB FamCamp: This is a very nice campground for snowbirds like us. It's not located on the base, easy access to the grocery stores or commissary/BX, all kinds of good restaurants, quiet, good internet so you can watch Netflix if you so desire, very friendly staff, most sites have plenty of room so you are not on top of each other. This is our second year and we're already planning our third.
