For South Abutment: We stayed two nights in January and had freezing rain the whole time so we didn't get out beyond the campground. That said, we liked the bathrooms. The spaces were level and paved. No water hook-up while we were there, though. If we went again, we'd look for a site along the lake.

For South Abutment: Typically nice Corps park. Paved pads, and roads. Most sites are a little short for big rigs, so check the web site map to find one long enough. Site #8 is an easy back-in and long enough for a 40' rig plus room to park a car. Plenty of shade and a view of the lake. Utilities are 50amp and water.
