For Yellowstone River Campgrounds: First was the price...expensive if you ask me but we were left little option so we stayed there for 3 nights. The place is extremely clean and well run...staff was very friendly. Spots were close together with little room to put your awning out. If you are in the area and are willing to pay then it's not too bad...if they would consider lowering their prices it would be more palatable.

For Yellowstone River Campgrounds: This was the most expensive place we've stayed, and we've traveled most of the United States and Canada. We paid $78, and that's with the AAA 10% discount! Vancouver was less expensive and we stayed in the middle of Vancouver! We wouldn't complain if we didn't feel like sardines! We have a 17 foot trailer and it was a tight fit!! Really? 17 foot! There was no place for a picnic table unless you want it in the back of your trailer, or next to your sewer connections. It's not worth the discounted rate of $78! June 2016

For Yellowstone River Campgrounds: Highest price ($75/night) we have ever paid even in CA! Very tight; we had to pull in our slide so that someone else could get into the other part of the gravelled space.
Inadequate number of bathroom facilities for the number of sites. Our site wasn't level, nor was the one next door. The pedestal for power doesn't have 2 50 services, only one, so our neighbor better have a smaller need than we do. Actually saw RV's leave rather than try to tough it out.

For Yellowstone River Campgrounds: Actually would not even give a one star rating. It is all true and then some what they say about this place. We have never seen anything like it!
They put two rv's in one site. Then they tell you not to use your awning because of the wind. Not because there is no room. They tell you the picnic table has to be used on the back side of your rig, in a strip about 3 ft wide along with the hookups. They don't care if you complain and pretty much say like it or leave it. We left after go around with one of the managers. About the most expensive place we have been. KOA is 1/4 down the road. Much better

For Yellowstone River Campgrounds: Nice campground with friendly, helpful staff but WOW are these sites tight and cramped! We had a pull through which was so tight that we had to wait while the neighboring picnic table was relocated to even allow our 21 foot TT to get into the site. Then we spent the entire time ducking and weaving to get past our slide and the neighboring slide to get access to the hookups. Forget about putting out your awning if the neighbor already has theirs out. Our visit was in August of 2014.

What is normally one sorest another campground is two here! Check out the KOA that's a half block away if you must stop here. This is a ripoff. $75/night in summer 2014
