For Southside RV Park: Small, clean, and very well-kept campground. The area is peaceful, and there is a small stream running through the campground. The owners live on site and are extremely nice and helpful. Be sure to ask them about attractions in the area. They will be more than happy to make recommendations. Sites are level with gravel. There is grass on each side of the site. Campground Internet is good. We had three bars of AT&T and three bars of Verizon cell service. The laundry was large and clean. This would be a five star review except the restrooms and showers were closed due to Covid. We like the campground and the town of Dillon so much we stayed an extra day.

For Southside RV Park: Very nice place to stay. Lots to see in the area, too. Hosts very serious about safety of campers. Small stream right behind our campsite. Sites are fairly spacious. Laundry facility nice. Could not yet use bathrooms because of COVID. Close to town. WiFi not as good as previous camper indicated but adequate. Quiet. Peaceful. Would return.

For Southside RV Park: Large sites with lots of green and perfect design with downhill hookups, plenty of water pressure, flawless power. 5x5 Wifi. Hosts were awesome and uber versatile with timely mechanical and tour-guide advise. Staff seem to know everyone in town, if you want local intel. A branch of the Beaverhead river runs smack-dab through the middle of the park with probably a dozen sites right on the wster. Watched a blue heron crane pull a LARGE trout from the river right outside our door. So large he gave up trying to land it. Exceptionally well-kept facility. They guide you to your site. It's on the outskirts of town so about 4-block walk to probably most popular restaurant/pub/sports bar in town, 6 blocks to grocery store, Patagonia outlet store and playground/water park. Deer daily through our site, geese and muscrat out the door. As others said, great sunsets, especially for the 15-20 sites in the back. Refreshing. Thankfully no dreaded trashy 'full-timers' I could see. Only negative is you can't wash your rig but probably an environmental thing since right on the river, and plenty of pluses to keep it from dropping a star. 5 stars. Will be back as often as itinerary allows.

For Southside RV Park: Like so many other reviews have mentioned, this campground is clean and a beautiful river runs right through it. You also get it unobstructed view of the sunset over the mountains. The town of Dillion is very community oriented. They have a great playground and some of the best ice cream we’ve had on our trip around the US was at a Little place called Milk Pal. In town the brewery is sweet and the couple restaurants are good. The campground itself is relaxing. I noticed many people only stay for a night and I encourage you to stay longer if you can. Owners are quality humans and it come through in the beautiful campground they work hard to maintain. The one “bad†review probably means he didn’t want to keep his rug off the grass or his fire in a pit. Trust me, their so called rules are meant to keep this campground in the beautiful shape it is in.

For Southside RV Park: Enjoyed or stay. Camp host was very friendly and helpful. Nice stream runs through the park, very relaxing except for the occasional diesel freight train starting its run just outside the park. It really wasn't that often or objectionable. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

For Southside RV Park: Great little campground - host was very nice and was well attuned to the needs of social distancing etc in these crazy times. Well manicured sites with some big trees offering some shade. Restrooms were closed. Cell and wi-fi good. We’ll be back on our return trip!
