For Peck Gulch Campground: small campground right on Lake Koocanusa, with views of the lake and the mountains on the west side of the lake. Many of the sites are right along the lake, so you can just walk down a steep rocky embankment to the water. These sites are very exposed, out in the open with no trees or shade. There are a few sites that are along the edge of the forest. These have more shelter and some shade (depending on time of day). The sites seem fairly level and easily accessible. There are vault toilets. There is also a boat ramp at the north end. Note that the road from the highway to the campground, though paved, is somewhat steep and is single lane for a short distance.
