For Fort Harrison RV Park: Really nice little campground on the military base. There’s not too much tree coverage near your side, but the temperature in Montana is not that bad. The camp post and assistant camp post were very helpful, and we’re concerned about getting my size of rig into the spot (I have a 42ft Momentum THauler). The spots are actually very open and easy to get into. The only down part that I have experience so far, is that the site is unlevel. I had to put a substantial amount of blocks under my front landing gear to make my RV level. Overall it’s a really good campground, peaceful, and quiet.

For Fort Harrison RV Park: Wow! Clean and fairly easy to level our Class A motor home. They do have a “restroom “ but you will be more comfortable using your own. Easy process to reserve and extremely friendly staff and very helpful! We were able to use our satellite tv and even got some local over-the-air channels. As we have our own WiFi even great internet signals. Will definitely recommend this Famcamp and will be staying here again!

For Fort Harrison RV Park: Very clean. Host is great. Bathrooms with picnic table at each site. No showers or internet but we will be back. Be sure to reservations as sites are limited during COVID

Jim

For Fort Harrison RV Park: This was a very nice stop for us as we spent some time visiting the State Capitol building and the area sights. The base was very clean and quiet. Check-in is somewhat involved as you must call security so they can meet you at the truck gate and open it for you. We declared one handgun which was secured by a cable lock by security. You retain your weapon and they unlock it when you depart. Our site was paved and long enough for our 45' motorhome and tow car. The sites are narrow and the electric plug-in was on the passenger side while water and sewer were on the drivers side. With slides out you actually encroach on your neighbors patio area. There are twelve sites and the park is very clean and well cared for. The views of the surrounding hills were beautiful and the proximity to downtown Helena made it very convenient. We paid $21 per night. Would highly recommend this park.

Pete

For Fort Harrison RV Park: Cute, small campground. I dry camped in June 2017 because the sites were full. The post has a nice, small gym and a great running trail. Otherwise, there is only a pit toilet without lights or toilet paper. I got water at a site I noticed when running. For $10, I do not have any complaints.

Happy&Retired

For Fort Harrison RV Park: Stayed here in 38' MH. Rated 3 stars when comparing to other FamCamps we've stayed. Nice clean park with full hookups for $21. No Wifi. The electric post is between ever other site so unfortunately we had to pull our 50 amp to the other side. The sewer dump is up on the curb so difficult to get a good down slope drain. For trailers/5 th wheels this isn't as much a problem since they normally sit higher than a MH. Although slots look level, it does require lifting the front end faily high to get level and front wheels were a little off the ground. Small space between spots which means you might get to know your neighbor. Stayed here 3 days. Would stay here again and would recommend.
