For Lid Creek Campground: We were looking for a CG in the area to enjoy the lake as well as be near Glacier National Park. We're self contained and don't use the facilities. We camped on a Sunday in late July in our 25 foot MH.
This is a very nice small campground. There are 23 sites. Most need some leveling and most are shady. The sites range from small to generous, yet the trees make most seem relatively private. There's no wifi. There's good ATT and Verizon coverage. The CG host was helpful and friendly.
The lake is beautiful and there's a gravel swim beach near the boat launch. It's an hour from Glacier NP and an hour from Kalispell.

Local camper
For Lid Creek Campground: Great site, free boat acess. We stayed two separate times with the same camp host. However will not stay at this site again. The camp host is very confrontational and not friendly, to put it nicely. The locals know not to camp sites 2+3 because they are right next to him. Asking around, we are not the only ones to have a problem with him.
