For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: Great park. Lots of space between camp sites. Some have water and power some don’t. Dump on site. Camp host very helpful and friendly. Cellular is spotty those with cell booster didn’t have a problem. The Caverns is a must see!!!

For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: What a great find! Beautiful campground with lots of space and shade trees. Beautiful mountains all around and you’re close to Jefferson River and Lewis & Clark caverns. The only downside was our loop had no water because the spigot was put of order but since we were only there one night, I consider that minor.

For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: We stayed here on night on our way home from Medora ND and the Theodore Roosevelt NP. It was a breath of fresh air! Wide open spots with mostly level spots. There are fire pits, and wood can be purchased on site. Shower and bathroom house were in good order but let’s be honest, those can always be better. It also had a very nice playground that our three kids and others spent hours on until the sun was up. With you camp stay comes a discount into the cave. Would stay again in a heart beat. We did notice the train across the river but didn’t hear it at night and we have a hybrid. It was a beautiful star filled night, dark and quite.

For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: The cave tour here is very enjoyable and interesting. The campground is flat with large gravel pads. Only about 1/3 of the sites have electrical hook ups ($34) and the others are dry ($28) There is a dump station on site. Overall, a nice stop for a day or two. Advise making reservations during the summer months as the electrical sites are nearly always full.

For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: Great stop if you're traveling between Glacier and Yellowstone. Campground is in a gorgeous, open setting surrounded by mountains. Not a lot of trees or other natural separation, but sites are well spaced out. Bathrooms are clean, as are the showers (which cost $3 in quarters--there is a change machine). Driving 3 miles deeper into the park takes you to the cavern tour, which is a fun way to spend 2 hours. Make sure to tell the tour ticket-taker that you're camping, to avoid paying the out-of-state service fee a second time.

For Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park: A very nice park to explore in summer in spite of the high non resident camping fee ($34) for power site.
The problem is in winter. They have the campground open all year. But a site in winter is $30 for power, no water, pit toilet. Non resident. Same would get you a full hookup site anywhere south. With hot showers . In fact $20 in Utah, and $18 in New Mexico.. So this park is overpriced in winter. On the positive side there are few visitors. Wonder if the price is a factor.
