For Lake Frances City Park Campground: What a diamond in the rough! Tiny town with minimal services and you find a city-owner campground with electric! Dump available. Bathrooms are closed due to COVID, but port-a-Potties are available. If you’re fishing, there’s a nice cleaning station.

For Lake Frances City Park Campground: Stumbled upon this campground after crossing the border to US from Canada.
Lovely campground, amazing host and peaceful surroundings.
Spent 3 nights here and hardly wanted to leave. Hidden gem for sure! So worth a night or in our case a few 😊

For Lake Frances City Park Campground: This is a hidden gem. We used it as a base, parking our Airstream here while exploring Glacier Park. It is an easy hour to the East Entrance of Glacier. Many lakeside sites, an attentive Camp Host, secure environment. Lake Francis is a lovely high plains lake with sweeping vistas but many of the campsites have shade. Hard to beat $10.00 night. Electric hook up is $20.00 but as the weather was cool we did not need AC. Water and sanitary station available. There is a bathroom and shower house but we did not use.ephebic

For Lake Frances City Park Campground: Nice campground with lake views from 2/3 of the sites. $20 for electric sites, $10 to dry camp or tent. Water spigots available in camp to fill fresh tank, dump station at exit. Quiet, no frills camping with a large lake view, fishing, boating. A few 50 amp sites available, most are 30 amp. Town of Valier is 1 mile away with groceries, gas, bar/grill, a few cafes. I-15 is 25 miles east of Valier. Pull in, find a spot, and camp host will catch up with you later for payment. Decent spot for a weekend or a few days off the road.
