For St Mary Campground - Glacier National Park: We want to support our National Parks. The sites really need to be rethought in terms of access and views. Some sites have the rv doors facing the road vs campsite. Views blocked. Accessibility of RVs difficult in making turns and avoiding damage to your unit. While it is a campground much more suited for tenting (which we did for years), perhaps RVs need to look elsewhere or bring your tent when traveling to Glacier NP.

For St Mary Campground - Glacier National Park: We were looking for a CG near Glacier National Park where we could stop for 1 night and have cell coverage. We're self-contained and don't use the facilities. We stayed 1 week night in late September in our 25 foot MH. This is a very nice CG. It was in 'primitive' mode and price during our stay - only sites in C loop were open with no water, no dump, no rest rooms. The sites are arrayed around a large circle. All are smaller pull through's. About 2/3 are in trees with shade and a bit of privacy while 1/3 are on a hill in the open with full sun and views. Most sites are gravel and need some leveling. We selected site 106. It wasn't the most private, however, had full sun for solar and a beautiful view. It was quite cold (30's in the am) - we prioritized solar over privacy. There was a good Verizon cell signal and no ATT signal. We arrived at lunchtime and had no difficulty finding a site. The CG was half full in the evening. The CG is walking distance from the St Mary Visitor Center via walking path. Note that at times of heavy bear activity, rangers suggest driving to the Visitor Center. (We were welcomed to the CG by a black bear.) The Logan Shuttle stops nearby. There are services available in St Mary, 1 mi from camp.

For St Mary Campground - Glacier National Park: Beautiful location! We were greeted by a black bear as soon as we pulled into the campground. Stayed in Loop C, all others were closed for the winter (in mid-September!) Water had already been shut up and the dump station closed for the season. No electric hookups but generators were allowed for two hours at a time throughout the day. The visitors center had a wall of cell phone chargers available, a water spigot and restrooms (no showers). Very quiet, very scenic. I almost don’t want to recommend because we will definitely be back!

For St Mary Campground - Glacier National Park: Great location! Friendly Rangers and volunteers. Nice sites - Many have partial shade. Clean restrooms and nice showers. Please keep your dogs on a leash. Why is there always someone who feels their dog is an exception to this? I wish this was better enforced to allow for a better walk. Other than the odd person who feels exempt by park rules - great place.

For St Mary Campground - Glacier National Park: We enjoyed site B62 for three nights. Loop A was closed for some reason. Loop B is a series of left or right pullouts off the loop road. All pull through! Most of the pullouts are screened from the loop road by vegetation about six foot high, but not all sites. Choose wisely or you will feel you are simply parked alongside the road. B62 was great! Lots of space for truck and trailer and even extra room for a tent. Lots of shrubs for screens but none to interfere with sun on my solar panels. There is a picnic table and fire pit (with grill) at each site. The view from our site was special! Be aware that there is no electric and no signal from AT&T. Showers are on C Loop (quite a hike). Wifi hotspot is at the visitor center maybe half a mile from camp.

Loved it there but missed my phone. Otherwise a 5 star.
