Neffers
For Cardwell General Store and Campground: Stay in November so only one other rv there....that was nice! Arrived after dark, almost closing time. The check in girl was nice but a stickler for the rules.....even though we were the only rig there (one came in in the middle of the night), she made me walk out to our rig (remember it’s late November so it’s cold) to get my license plate number even though she know the make and model of our rig, I know they have there rules but really it’s off season. Other than that it’s a very nice park. The store is really cool and has great gifts, chocolates/candy and espresso! Would definitely recommend.

Morta Verde
For Cardwell General Store and Campground: Nice RV Camp: trees, mountains, close to the road, all sites are pull-troughs and easy to access. Staff are friendly, store stocked with necessities, clean and trimmed.
Price is higher than one might expect, disappointed by lack of moose, however mosquitos filled in for wildlife at certain times of the day. Left husband desiccated next to electrical hookup. Maybe back to pick up next year on my way through.

Richard
For Cardwell General Store and Campground: Great location to visit Butte, Bozman and the ghost towns on the trip to Virginia City. The store is very clean. The laundry and bathrooms are not elaborate but are clean. The staff friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We had nice views.

Janee
For Cardwell General Store and Campground: Poor. Bathroom and showers nasty. Only good thing was seeing a moose in the a.m.
