For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: The park shows concrete pads - don’t let that fool you. Yes, concrete, but 10 inches out of level. If you are in a motorhome, be prepared to put big stacks under front tires. Trailers should be fine. No WiFi and office tells you that it is awful when providing password. Water pressure is the lowest I’ve ever experienced. If you have another option - go there not here.

AKONE

For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: Access: Good. Paved interior roads. Entrance to the park off of I26 is not possible with longer coaches. Have to drive past entrance and find a place to make a U-turn. Sites: Back-ins. Concrete pads and grass. Spacing close but not tight. Small park with two rows. Riverside row with shade trees. Opposite row no shade. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Grounds: Well kept, clean. Electrical: 30/50 amp. Hot days frequent power outages. 50 amp - one leg voltage was 120, the second leg voltage was 105. Not safe to run two ACs. Had to unplug and run generator until sun went down. Noise Level: Moderate road noise. No trains. Cell Service AT&T: 3 bars. Wifi: Not used Price: $48 per night full hook-ups. Notes: We travel in a 40' Motorhome. Stayed 1 night. Not all park facilities were used. Opinion: Park is next to a river and has a public walk/bike path that runs between the two RV parking rows - great access for walking or riding. Park manager gave full refund because of power issues. On-line check-in progress unclear. Would stay again when weather is cooler.

Bgirl

For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: City camping. It’s a little odd because there’s a public path that passes between the only two rows of RV’s but I saw no issues. The camp host was very friendly. Didn’t use the restroom. I was backed up to the river with endless rain. Camp host let us know about flash flooding and that the fire department will come through to let us know if we need to evacuate. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler and was able to easily uber around town. I will stay again because of the convenient and safe location, exactly what I was looking for. Better suited for smaller rigs.

For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: Nice place by river. Quiet. Bath house small and basic but doable. Cement pads. Host friendly. Would recommend and stay again.

Elisa

For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: Not optimal for tent camping, but a good location if you’re on the road and want to spend an evening in Asheville. The noise from the highway at night and a tubing company blowing up their tubes a few feet from us first thing in the morning made sleeping tough. However, they were fully reserved and made some room for us late at night!

Mahja

For Wilsons Riverfront RV Park: Campground is right off highway. Approx 15 minutes to Biltmore Estates (which we were visiting). There are just two rows of RVs - one on right side and one on left. A community park path runs right down between them so you have people running, biking and walking near your RV all day. And driving is a bit hazardous because of all the people. When entering campground (tough U turn required) the first site on right is checkin. But she'll only accept cash. If paying by credit card you need to drive back where you came from until you find Wilsons RV repair shop. Not very convenient but the woman at the first site is very friendly.
Once settled in, there is a burger stand if you follow the walking/ biking path about 1/4 mile upstream from camp. Biggest issue was noise. All you hear all night is traffic. Very loud. You'll need to turn on a loud fan or AC system to try to drown it out. Trash is left bagged in front of your RV and someone will pick it up. Wifi works but will routinely drop so you'll need to keep logging back in. All in all it's ok if you have a way to drown out the noise and you stay for just one night.
