For Twin Lakes RV & Camping Resort: We arrived when it was raining a bit and were glad to have a pull through site - although we were a little worried because we were entirely on dirt/mud. It poured all night and we woke up to our sewer pipe being under water. Just ours- not anyone else around us was having this issue. Sewer was backed up into the pipe and we had to wait for the water to go down a bit before we could unhook and leave. Also during this time the electricity went out for the entire campground. We finally turned on the generator, yanked the hookups out, and slushed through the muddy mess and got the heck out of there. Lots of perm residents here with tons of porch stuff and yard decor around. Seems like it would be a nicer place if they could address the mud and drainage issues we experienced.

For Twin Lakes RV & Camping Resort: Overall not a bad stay. We stayed on J26 for five nights over the weekend of the 4th of July. Full hook ups available. Only real issue we had was the width - condition of our site. It was a premium site, larger and in with the full timers. We have a 26ft Salem with one slide out. When we backed into the site, we had to workout the tire placement as the previous full timer left quite the ruts where tires stayed put so long. Then the side out couldn't be extended fully until we adjusted our TT closer to the cement pad, no big deal but- we were touching the pad with our tires, backed all the way against the water spigot and JUST had enough room between the trees to extend out slide. We did have to call maintenance to come out as full timer on right side had a shed that also inhibited our slide. It was all resolved, but kinda crappy to deal with at first. Due to the full timers around us, our view was the back of a shed, a vinyl privacy fence and electrical hookups. So the actual site kinda stunk, but the overall campground was nice. The pools are clean, arcade and playgrounds are a big hit with the kids- which the one awesome thing about our location was he proximity to the playground on that side, it allowed our kids to have some freedom while allowing us to not worry about them getting into trouble. They had different events each night, staff was friendly- we will be coming back!

For Twin Lakes RV & Camping Resort: Roads are dirt, very muddy when it rains. At 5:00am the permanent behind us started his diesel truck and left it running for an hour before he left. After three days of this we asked for and were given a new site, no concrete pad but quieter. When I asked what kind of fish were in the two lakes none of the staff had any idea. Bathhouse on transient side had the AC running when it was 28 degrees outside. Only one toilet was working, sinks on the right side had a leaking pipe and all they did to fix was wad a bunch of paper towels on the floor under the leak. All shower stalls had no locking doors, all towel bars busted and all soap trays in shower missing. Wifi was non-existing, not even at the office. Showers on the other side by the laundry did have locking doors but only lukewarm water and very little heat, had to take my own heater. They change the password for the front gate every Tuesday but did not inform us of this until we complained to the office that we could not get our passcode to work. Got the impression that they cater to the permanent population and boaters. Office not open on Sunday and Monday. Would not stay here again.

For Twin Lakes RV & Camping Resort: Quiet. Campground hosts unavailable after 5 PM. We had a difficult time finding our site. Internet not available at campsites. Internet was supposed to be available at the Pavilion but wasn't and there was no one to ask. Very expensive.
