For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: Close to highway but not noisy. Expensive but brand new and super clean tile bathrooms and new aglaiaconcrete patios. Nice staff.

For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: KOAs are usually pretty consistent. I didn’t find this one to be up to my expectations. Patchy roads, poor signage, no escort, no cable, dirt patch rather than grass, lots of road noise from 95. Yet it was priced higher than a really nice place we stayed last night near Jekyll Island. Gonna pass on a return visit.

For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: Let me first say this seemed to be a nice campground. We stayed in site 41 which was a patio site. We had plenty of room for our 38’ travel trailer and slides on both sides. The site was within 1†of being level side to side. Good 50amp power, water sewer with 2 drain ports front and back. Checking was easy and got propane on way to campsite. They lead us to our site and made sure it was ok. Price was very reasonable for propane. Cost was 67.88 for one night. Outback Steakhouse does indeed deliver here. We disconnected to go get gas about 8 minutes away. They had good WIFI but no cable. We were able to run our Apple TV without glitching. Did not look at bathrooms or laundry. People in office had masks on and required for check in. It was a quiet night sleep. Would stay here again.

For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: I agree, the patio sites are small & too close together, though they cost more.
We are a 43’ fifth wheel + hauler = 60’. Stayed in the pull through 50 amp sites. They win the best “Big Rig†site of our trip. The have combined 2 pop up sized sites to create one long pull through. You can tell they know their customers.
Campground roads were once asphalt. Now they are stone mixed with asphalt, No pot holes noted. Everything clean & tidy. There is an old cemetery on the property.

Leigh
For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: A great place to stop for a night. The hosts are very friendly and the campground is clean. We chose a site with a concrete patio and I would not recommend these sites. That whole section is new and they placed the sites incredibly close together with little to no grass or vegetation. The less expensive sites without concrete are the better choice. The walking path is very nice and the road noise didn’t bother us as our windows weren’t open.

Robert
For KOA Journey Lumberton I-95: Mix of paved and gravel roads and sites. Sites very level. No the most dog friendly place with rules specifying no peeing on trees. Good WiFi. No cable but can get some stations with antenna.
